An opportunity to spend a mindful morning in beautiful gardens learning from a qualified horticulturist. In each session we will tackle seasonal tasks such as propagation and preparing for growing produce, and discuss ways you can help your garden to bloom and thrive.

We will explore ways to make your garden a haven not just for you and your loved ones, but for wildlife too. Garden wildlife are a gardener’s best friend, and will help you keep a natural balance without using chemicals or other invasive methods.

It doesn’t matter how big your plot is - from an acre to a postage stamp sized garden, it’s amazing what can be achieved. Maybe you don’t even have a garden, but would enjoy receiving the well-documented therapeutic benefits of spending time in a green space in good company.

We will gather on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning on Wednesday 2nd April. All equipment is provided. Hot drinks and energy boosting snacks included, as well as taking something home for your garden at the end of each session.

The price above is for your first 3 sessions. You will be e-mailed with more information on booking.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, but unfortunately due to the small number of spaces on the course Well & Truly is unable to give a refund for cancellation if less than 2 weeks ahead of the scheduled date. If you can find a friend or family member to take your place that is fine. You can receive a full refund if more than than 2 weeks is given to enable Well & Truly the chance to make the place available to someone else.

For retreat days, footwear that is suitable for walking on uneven ground & the weather conditions. Loose comfortable clothing & in the Autumn, Winter & early Spring wear plenty of layers. We will go inside to warm up at points in the day.

Is the farm easy to find?

Yes, we are about a quarter of a mile from the Bainton Roundabout. You will be sent an email a week before attending with full directions & what to look out for to find the farm. Directions will include What3Words as well as Sat-Nav instructions if preferred. There is plenty of private parking on arrival.

I find it hard to sit on the floor. Will I be comfortable enough to meditate?

No problem, you can sit or lie down for all practices. You can use a cushion to sit against a wall & there are plenty of supports & props to aid comfort.

I don't like shutting my eyes, will this be OK?

That's fine, you don't have to shut your eyes to meditate. There are images on the walls to use for focus if you would prefer. If outside, you can pick a point of focus.
