Hello

My name is Ellie and I’m so happy to welcome you to my website.

Well and Truly is a dream that I nurtured for many years before being able to bring it into being. Everything I offer is delivered from the heart and motivated by a passion and commitment to sharing opportunities to make life sweeter, calmer and more connected.

As well as accredited training, I bring a background of connecting with people from working in teaching and the voluntary sector. My own battles with chronic stress and anxiety and learning how to reset my nervous system through meditation and other mindful actions, enables me to offer authenticity and lived experience to my offerings.

In a world where our nervous systems can easily fall into a state of perpetual fight/flight or freeze it’s important to dedicate time to pause, put everything down and have a reset. My mission is to support wellbeing through connection, creativity and mindfulness and meditation techniques. There is something very special and necessary about ‘shared experience’ that is summed up beautifully in this quote from Gina Greenly…

“When we establish human connections within the context of shared experience we create community wherever we go.”

And so I invite you to come along for some soul nourishment, a nervous system reset and much laughter and comfort. I look forward to meeting you with a warm welcome.

Evening Sound Bath

A time and space to let go, immerse yourself and absorb the unique frequencies and world of sound healing.

The gentle vibrations and healing frequencies produced by the sound instruments calm the nervous system, which helps to alleviate anxiety and stress, and promote a sense of inner calm. Mind and body relaxes, releasing tension stored in muscles and tissues.

The sound vibrations can have a profound effect as our physiology is constituted of approximately seventy percent water. The vibrations work on a cellular level and have been found to stimulate circulation, promote cellular regeneration, and enhance the body's natural healing processes.

Come along and wash the stresses of the week away while enjoying the ambient atmosphere of twinkling lights and stars and a very warm ‘Well and Truly’ welcome. The session is rounded off with gentle chat over a warming cup of herb tea and wholesome treat to send you cosily home.

Spring Equinox Wreath and Centrepiece Making

Living with nature’s cycles makes us happier and more centred and what better way to welcome and celebrate a new season than with a wreath for your door or table centrepiece?

In this workshop we will weave a willow ring base and make spring bulb kokedamas to decorate along with seasonal foliages. Come along and soak up the bounty that nature has to offer at this very special time of year.

All materials and yummy wholesome treats and hot drinks provided.

Are you looking for a positive way to start the New Year? Incorporating meditation into your daily routine is an incredibly powerful way of improving your mental health and developing insight.

If you’ve ever wanted to try meditation but think your mind is too busy, you don’t have time or you’re just not sure how to go about it - this course has been written for you.

In this day course, perfect for the curious amongst you, we will talk about what meditation is - and, very importantly, what it is not!  We will discuss the far-reaching benefits of meditation and practice different styles and techniques so that you can find a way in to meditation that you connect with.

We will discuss how we can reset the nervous system to better manage stress and anxiety in our lives and lead us to living calmer, healthier and less reactively in our daily lives.
